What’s My Motivation?

Another red flag is when several employees start telling me about all the great job offers out there. Are you saying you want me to leave?

The thing about that is, money was never a motivator for me. My dream job is being a social worker or a high school counselor. The only reason I don’t do it is because I can’t afford to go to school to make the same amount of money I’m making right now. I can’t afford to pay student loans for the rest of my life.

My motivator: making a difference, and I’ve never had a better opportunity to make a difference than right here and right now.
