See, new employees are the exception to this hive mind rule, but there is a hierarchy; new office people are let in on it immediately, you don’t want to be seen conversing with me. However, new production people aren’t let in on it until much later, usually around six months before I see that recognition set in.
So no matter how well behaved you might be, it only takes one person to give the whole thing away.
