Everyone is pretending it’s business as usual. I get the common uncomfortable greetings, or people pretending I don’t exist after being super friendly the day before. Like I said, the usual.
See, from where I sit you’ve got three options:
1- Because you’re in over your heads, you could go back to Ethics with your side of the story. Surely getting them and the law involved will sort this out in favor of the innocent party.
2- You could try to wait it out until I quit or get fired, but I’m not sure how long you can work from home or how long HR will authorize a leave. You can’t get paid to do nothing forever.
3- Take my word for it that neither option one nor option two will turn out in your favor and just make it right, as I’ve been asking all along.
